How to cleaning Hockey Equipment?

If you have a front loader washer, or an oversized washer, you can actually wash the gear in that. Just let it sit and dry over night. I have a front loader, and wash the small stuff after every game, and the shoulder, shins, elbow pads and gloves about once a month. But that is about maybe 5-6 games every two weeks. Its also a good idea to wash things every once and while to prevent get rashes and skin irritations. Anything that doesn't get washed after games, gets dosed with Lysol to kill the bacteria. There are also hockey bags that have a heater with an ionizer that will dry the gear inside the bag.
