What material to choose when choosing a suit?

The material should be selected not only by season but also by quality. Do not forget that you will often wash or dry the outfit. Certainly avoid artificial lining, rubber surfaces and other artificial materials that are not only impermeable but also poor quality, and the outfit usually lasts for one season or one wash.

Prefer quality materials that do not irritate the skin and are pleasant to the touch. The most up-to-date materials used for Dog Clothing include membrane softshell and thermal material. These materials have spread from the field of extreme sports to the common life of not only humans but also dogs. They are popular not only for their light weight, easy maintenance and fast drying, but also for their high functionality.

Before we buy a suit we need to measure the dog and we are interested mainly in the neck circumference, the chest circumference and the length of the back, which determines the size of the suit. The dog is always standing. If the dog is restless, we measure it with the help of a second person. In the case of breeds with thick and long hair a couple of centimeters in length of the back and especially around the chest we add, we must have a reserve for the fur. Dimensions are measured in both dogs and females equally, the suits have the same cut to suit the needs of both sexes. If we select a too big suit, it probably will not perform well for the function we are getting for it. Too small and large, however, the dog can cause abrasions, it can throttle and restrict his movement.
