Where is it planned to place the heater? There are electric heaters that can be placed on the floor, on the wall or on a stand.
Buy an expensive or cheap heater, how many economical heaters to buy, will it pay off in the long run? The more economical the heater, the higher its price and the longer it will last.
The most popular types of electric heaters:
1. Heater with fan
This is one of the cheapest heaters, but its biggest advantage is fast room heating. The personal heater with a fan is available in a small size, so it is easy to move and place anywhere. Most of these heaters have a built-in thermostat that turns it on or off at a certain temperature. The heater with a fan also has disadvantages - it very dehydrates the air and burns oxygen in the room, so it will need to be ventilated more often. Due to the air flow circulating, it creates dust as well as additional sound. The approximate service life is 3-5 years.
2. Oil cooler
These heaters heat the room relatively slowly, but the heat is distributed evenly, retaining and radiating even after the device is switched off. The surface of the heater does not heat more than 80 degrees and its temperature is controlled by a thermostat. There are models with a built-in fan, which helps to heat the air faster, but creates additional sound. The heater is radiator-shaped and consists of several sections, the number of which can vary from 4 to 9, on which the power and heating capacity of the radiator depends. Most oil radiators are manufactured on wheels. This is not the most economical heater, but it is a safe choice. Its service life can be up to 10 years. The disadvantage of the oil cooler is its size and weight, as well as the manufacturer's instructions for placing it at a certain distance from adjacent objects.

3. Convection type heater
The heater works without sound, it heats the room relatively quickly and ensures even heat distribution throughout the room. It can be placed on the floor or hung on the wall. The heater usually has a built-in thermostat, which controls the temperature and a timer that allows you to set the on and off times. The service life can be up to 10 years. The convection type electric heater is available in different sizes, so it can be adapted to the size of the room as needed.
4. Infrared heater
These heaters are the most expensive, but more economical, because they heat the objects against which it is facing, which distinguishes them from other types of heaters. They are placed in different ways - they can be placed on the wall, on the ceiling, on the floor or on a special stand. Infrared heaters are useful in a large room where it is only necessary to heat a certain place. This saves energy. The heater heats up the necessary objects quickly, as well as works without sound. The heaters are equipped with a thermostat that helps maintain an even temperature.
How to care for electric heaters?
Before re-using the electric heater at the beginning of the season, it must be cleaned of dust that has accumulated on it. For oil radiators and fan heaters, this can be done with a damp cloth, but for convection type and infrared heaters, we recommend blowing dust with a strong air flow to get rid of those that have accumulated in the gaps. It is not recommended to do this with a standard vacuum cleaner by vacuuming it, as this will not remove all the dust. If the dust is not removed, it may smoke and start to burn, which will cause an odor.
