How many times do I have to forgive someone that keeps hurting me?
Ok I need advice! how many times do I forgive someone that keeps hurting me? How many times?! Do I keep this person in my life? She keeps hurting me. I even canceled plans with her cuz I'm so mad and hurt!!!!

I was so happy to hear that you went out and saw some friends and reconnected.What has happened now?I know we have talked before about your long term friend and the way she is different from you so I hope you are not being hurt by her just being herself?Did you make Facebook friends with the girls you saw at the Christmas party?
I don\'t know, I have a long term friend, more like someone I\'m stuck with, a relative, (can\'t get rid of her) and I have no choice but to forgive her. She hurts me literally, on a regular basis. We went weeks without incident, then today, like it was scheduled or something. I have another friend, a dear one who has changed over the past few years, not the same person I once knew and loved and had developed some serious interpersonal issues. I\'ve been letting this person manipulate me for the past two years, and I\'ve decided to stop it. I guess it all depends on what you are willing to go through as a friend and how much you can take, How much you are willing to stand up for. Maybe you don\'t need to cut them out, just set clear boundaries... then if those are crossed, say goodbye. I don\'t know, just my two cents. I\'m inclined to error on the side of caution and play it safe, keeping your own emotions in tact.
