How I managed on 600 Calories on Sat.

I've now done 4 days where I limited myself to 600 calories (2 days in the first week and 2 days in the second week). People have asked me how I do this, and what I eat. So I'll describe my day yesterday.
The night before I wrote out what I intended to eat.  I like to have 5 "meals" (very tiny) and space them out.  I planned to have a nibble at 9 AM, 12 PM, 3 PM, 6 PM, and 9 PM.
9 AM - 5 oz. container of non-fat Greek Yogurt, 80 calories.
12 PM - 3/4 cup of Eggbeaters (equivalent of 3 egg-whites), 90 calories.
Didn't make it to 3 PM before I got hungry. 1:30 PM ate one slice of 9-grain bread, 90 calories. (no butter)
Being that it was only 1:30 PM and I only had 2 little meals left, I planned to eat "dinner" at 5 PM and bedtime at 9 or 10 PM. So the question was: how do I keep my mind OFF FOOD AND HUNGER between 1:30 and 5:00?
I got engrossed in a book called THE POWER OF NOW by Eckhart Tolle.  It's about Zen Buddhist type of enlightenment as the end to suffering! How appropriate!
It worked.  I lasted until dinner time.  Ate 1/4 cup of ricotta with half a snack pack of raisins. Total 185 calories.
In the evening I watched TV.  I LOVE the British comedies on public station.  ARE YOU BEING SERVED? and KEEPING UP APPEARANCES. They are hilarious!
Then I went on computer until bedtime.  10 PM ate two medium apples, baked. 160 calories.
Had problems after going to bed. Was hungry, alert, anxious. Was finally sleeping and then got up at 4 AM to go to bathroom. Couldn't fall back to sleep.
Although it was pre-dawn, it was indeed Sunday, today, so I started eating.  That's OK, that's "legal" just so long as I COUNT THOSE CALORIES toward today, which I did.
I'm planning to do the 600 days this week on Wed. and Sat.
I'm holding off weighing myself until end of month.  Don't want to see fluctuations that would occur because of different calorie levels.
Have a great week, friends!

As for the goal completions, I DID journal my WW Points last March but just forgot to mark the goal completed. And I limited carbs for a few months, but didn\'t feel well at all, so I am cancelling that goal. \"Trust Myself\" rather than authority figures, is up to 80 percent.

Thanks JM and Zee! It has been difficult. The key is to keep busy. What works best for me is a good book. I\'m a slow, thorough reader so it will \"kill\" a few hours and before I know it, I can eat!

Hmm wonder why I did not get an email that you had written a journal entry. Oh well I am here now, I also have the book \"The Power Of Now\" anyway.... congrats on making it through the 600 calorie days. Good for you!!! I did very well dieting when living by myself, however living with someone who shows love by feeding...............well I am almost doomed. She even cooks for the dogs, and worries over their little snacks. LOL I am thinking if we can do an eating plan together that might help. I was planning on going to weight watchers, but have taken on some new bills, so I do not really have the money for the weekly meetings. I would have loved the group support, but oh well I have you, and YOU, MY FRIEND ARE SIMPLY AMAZING!!!
