There's absolutely nothing wrong with you, and you haven't done anything to cause what has happened to you.
When you’re young and lose your parents, it’s a loss like no other. You're right - it's totally unfair, and no one deserves what you're going through. Your situation is doubly unfair because you also lost your uncle.
By nature, life can be unfair and unpredictable. None of us know what challenges we will face, and so much of what happens in life is beyond our control. We're left to make the best of what we have and draw upon our available resources in order to create brighter futures for ourselves, regardless of our circumstances.
It's OK to feel scared, sad, confused, frustrated, and even angry about the cards you've been dealt. It's natural to have a wide range of emotions. You will likely have them for years to come. The key is to not let your emotions consume you. Having a strong support system will help you process these emotions and provide at least some comfort. Your foster parents, therapist, teachers, faith community, and friends will be there to support, mentor, and guide you through the next 5.5 years and beyond. You are not alone in this, even though it may feel that way.
Hope you have a nice time with your friends! Hugs.
