how far you have come

Time for another pick-you-up, Self, as you drag your mopey arse around the house.  So it has been a wild ride since ringing in the new year.
so you lost some friends....they didn't really appreciate your weird genius anyway.
And today....well, Murphy's Law is not on your side lately.
but, since that new year...
You have filled a box full of handmade jewelry (a craft you hadn't really tried before)
You've done two oil paintings (pretty good, considering how long they take)
You have embarked on a new artistic self-help journey....and stuck to it
You have a bag full of yummy knit items....never done that before either.
plus a whole bunch of other stuff, rearranging, cleaning, getting rid of extraneous crap that has been sitting forever.
There is a lot more laughter around here too.
So talk about a new year, this one is full of beginnings, and ANY beginning can be hard, your year has been full of them, and they just keep coming.
So cut yourself some slack ya goof and enjoy the ride.
