How do we create change, and dispel evil?
I find the answer in these passages:
"Don't let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good" (Romans 12:21 NLT)
"Don't just pretend to love others, Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other... Bless those that persecute you. Don't curse them, pray for them...Be happy with those that are happy and weep with those that weep. Live in harmony with each other....Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see that you are honorable. Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone." (Romans 12:9-10, 14-15, & 17-18 NLT).
Matthew 5:14-15 (NLT)"You are light of the world--like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. (15) No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. (16) In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father."
Love dispels hate, and light dispels darkness!
