I am so sorry for your recent loss. I has been such a short time, I\'m sure you are still just trying to comprehend that he is gone. My husband was ill for 2 years, and it was still very hard for me to believe when it happened.
I hope you have family and friends nearby. They may say the \"wrong\" thing, but they mean well. All the cliches that people say to the recently bereaved are discussed on DS frequently. You will find encouragement and compassion here.
Grief is a long road with many ups and downs. Everyone has to walk it, but there are many fellow travelers here. May God comfort and bless you.

I am so very sorry for your recent loss. You are so early in the process......but you can and will do this. It won\'t be easy but everyone here has been where you are and you will find understanding and you will receive \"help\" from those further along. Just take it one minute, one hour and one day at a time. This grief trip has no roadmap and no time schedule. Welcome to the one place that you can share anything you feel like sharing and everyone WILL understand. I wish you peace for today. Dianne
It is Saturday and i am alone trying to stop crying, i just can\'t get started. Sunday is farther\'s day, i had already got a card and a grift while Michael was in the hospital. I ask God what is next and what should i do but i can,t hear him because my soul is so sad. I will keep praying because that is all i can do right now. Thanks for the conforting words.

It has been 5 months since my Michael has been gone and i was thinking that things were getting better but i got home from church and sorrow was waiting for me when i walked in the house, it consumed me. Michael and I always watched football on Sundays, Go Redskins, and it hit so hard i could not stop crying. I asked God to forgive me b/c i said i would put all my trust in him. Keep praying for me.
