How did I not realize this
I am good at stuff and I shouldn't care if my Dad is proud of me. You guys are proud of me and I guess that is all that matters. I mean it would be nice to know that my Dad is proud of me but I have y'all.

Yes, we are all very proud of you! I would like to believe that your dad is too, even if he doesn't show it.
What's most important is that you make *yourself* proud. Do the things that you have always dreamed of doing. Challenge yourself and accomplish things that you never thought you could. Commit to bettering yourself. As wonderful as it feels to receive praise for a job well done, you may have to accept that your dad cannot give that to you. It has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with him.

Sometimes Dad's don't say it when they are proud of you but they are. How can he not be with all that you do? Trust me, he is proud of you. Oh and btw...have you ever come right out and asked your dad if he was proud of you? You should do that.
I guess I will try to ask him.
