'Fat cow' and 'ugly bitch' was all I heard from you,
Hateful words and mental abuse was all I ever knew.
Im not yours so that must mean I'm not special in your eyes,
It felt like all you ever wanted to do was make me cry.
I'm broken, shattered, an empty shell, my soul is somewhere else,
All you ever did for me was make life a living hell.
My friends had fathers, loving and kind, thats the sort of dad I need,
How could you do this to a little girl, all I could do was plead.
To never live another day, or for warmth, a soft embrace,
But if I'd asked for love I'd get hit hard across the face.
Hurt muffled sobs into my pillow, and I would cry myself to sleep,
Emotional scars,shattered memories are the souvenirs I keep.
Years have gone by, Im all grown up, and I am getting stronger
