House Fell Through
I spoke with my realtor 2 days ago. The potential buyers deal fell through. So now I have to list and pray it goes through this time.
The family can stay for another 2 weeks or until it sells, but I'm now charging them rent. Naturally the realtor thinks they have a rental property lined up. (Figures, so still not a penny from the damn thing.....and now responsible for the hefty property tax bill as well. )

hell.....that sucks.....I hope the house sells fast and for more than was price before....just cause it is some kind of money that makes time better....
Thanks. I'm worried since interest rates are up I may have trouble. My realtor says I'm right in line with another comp in area...so fingers crossed and LOTS of prayers.

Sorry for the deal falling through. Canada is having the same problem. I know of people that had the same problem. Look for those that do not need to finance so much. Hugs
Perhaps you can invoice them for back rent covering their entire stay. I know it’s hard to get money out of people. I’ve never had much luck financially with real estate.
They are to be out the end of this week.
I found out from realtors they replaced fridge, but tore out cabinet to fit it in. They put in cabinet but does not match.
He's also squawking about losing original deposit $3000....even though original documents state if it falls through that is forfeited.
wow, people are really something. How can they move in if they do not have the title or a rental agreement.
Determine the going rental rate for a comparable home. Multiple by the number of months he was there. Hopefully the $3000 covers it. Hugs Kim.
