Houma To Visit Family Earthly and Heavenly
I made it through the day without too much weeping and wailing... Cara told me while I was on the way to Houma that she was not there... As I got closer to Houma I was so anxious to be there as if I was going to get to see her... I knew I wasn't... still... Its just a cold stone building with a marble slab... The day was cold, rainy and muddy... Still I tried to establish contact... I left an angel by her door... I used to sing a song to her... I can't remember all the words... You are my special angel... sent from up above... the lord smiled down on me... and sent and angel to love... now she's my angel in heaven and I still love her... I also placed an angel by my mom's grave... I talked to her and my husband Cara's father who died in 2003... I talked to my grandmother who died in Jan of this year and so many of my loved ones... I felt like finally there at that place they came to me... they were all together and smiling and wishing me well... I miss them but I'm glad they have found each other as I prayed for... I got to see 4 of my grandchildren... I have 6 almost 7... my son in law Ben and daughter in law Liz... my son John was offshore... I also saw my brother... So all in all it was a good day... Hope all of you had a decent day. Hugs Elissa
