Hostile
Youngest son causing problems again. Saturday morning I tried to wake him up and he was unhappy. He set his alarm and I waited an hour before trying to get him up. As usual he was very hard to budge. I try to stay positive and tease him and not get angry that he won't get up. It is so hard as he is 19 and should get up on his own. My other kids got up at 15.
I started sorting through his clothes pile which I asked him to wash 4 times that week. Our washer and dryer were not in use and he complained that he can never do laundry as someone always has it. He washed one load on Thursday, 2 pairs of pants and about 4 shirts. The pile of clothes was 3 feet high.
He got angry at me told me to get out of his things. I told him it was just dirty clothes and I was going to get them in the washer as knew he had trouble finding time (which of course is because he plays video games 16 hours a day.) He told me again to get out of his things and out of his room. I left very upset.
He came down with half the pile and told me most of it wasn't dirty. He was a bit nicer, but I was too upset to care.
Easter passed slowly. Middle son not feeling well and his wife's family actually had a celebration for Easter. Have always had them for Easter, but her family never did anything. This year have a new grandbaby so did baskets and dinner etc. Felt like daughter in law wanted to be there.
Then this morning tried to get youngest up for work again. He laid back down after his alarm and was sound asleep when I went up to check. Tried to get him out of the bed as I was leaving for work. He said he was awake. I told him his eyes were still shutting and he still looked asleep. He looked at me and said "that is because you won't LEAVE".
I went down and got in my car and drove off. No clue what to do with the anger he is spewing at me again. Even took him to see his girlfriend on Saturday. Sure didn't want to spend $80 taking them to the movies and dinner. Plus tired all the time now and wanted to just stay home.
I seem to have no motivation to do anything anymore. Just wish I could sleep more.

No matter what, I want you to believe that you are doing the best you can, have better faith in yourself and don\'t beat yourself up over something that isn\'t your fault. I believe you are a good parent just like your a good person. Don\'t give up on your son, but most importantly do not give up on yourself.
hang in there sweetie
hugs xo
