hospital
Hiya journal, just a quick update on whats been happening over the last month.......i went for my first hospital appointment a couple of weeks ago about the numbness in my left leg. The consultant said that i had low vitamin b12 levels and my folic acid was quite low as well...i have been started on a course of tablets for the vitb12 and if the dont help raise the levels then i could be looking at getting injections every three months for life........joy!!!..........He also said that it is about an 80% chance that the numbness is caused by the main nerve in my leg being trapped and me having gained some weight after stopping smoking wont have helped. To be on the safe side tough he is sending me for an MRI scan to make sure it isnt MS..........i think that it is a trapped nerve so im not too concerned at the moment, but when i go this wednesday i think i will be bricking it.I will write another entry and say what happened on the day.ttfn xx
