Well after attempting to relapse and get some drugs, Justin was caught and arrested. He spent 21 days in jail and we heard not one word from him. He was then given 18 months probation and let go. He checked himself into a Psych hospital and is there now.
We have been to see him twice and for the first time in his life he is admitting that he is out of control and scared. He is scared of what he will do. He admits he did not want to relapse but that he has absolutely no control of himself and this terrifies him and me!
He clearly has mental illness as he says the voices in his head have gotten louder and more persistant. Telling him to use drugs, telling him he won;t get caught, telling him just one last time will be ok. I'm hoping the medicine will help and that we will be able to get him into some type of treatment for the menatl isssues and the substance abuse.
