Girlfriend finding out, I don't clear the computer properly, accidently message the wrong person, misplace some files, log in out of habbit...
Girlfriend completely cutting me off, talking to her family and friends about what a loser I am and how she never expected that I was such a sad pervert.

Chatting to someone that turns out to be under age and has lied, their parents prosecute, I am given a criminal conviction and lose my job, as well as my friends and my girlfriend.
Someone that I'm talking to disappears without warning shortly after I've been online with them, the police trace all of their internet activity and turn up at my door, I'm questioned a number of times and have to explain to my loved ones why it has happened.
