Horrible Night, Yet Good-ish Morning

As little as 6 weeks ago I wouldn't have thought it possible to endure such a terrible evening/night and yet wake to such a decidedly good-ish morning. Stress and anxiety are major triggers for rosacea flare-ups, and yesterday dealt me a doozy of a dose.

The hubby and I are in the process of trying to sell our house for his work relocation to Atlanta. Yesterday evening, with only an hour's warning, we were asked to leave the house, and take the pets with us in the rain, so someone could view it last minute. The viewers were rude! Incredibly rude! I won't go into it all... but my stress levels went through the roof. I was upset for hours before bed. Then when I went to bed, I had a hard time falling and also staying asleep.

Once asleep, there were the nightmares... being set on fire form the inside and vomitting up yellow gunk/goo.

Woke up tired this morning and was fully expecting to see a rosacea flare-up.

Went to the bathroom mirror stright away... No flare. Zip. Zero. Nada... WOW!!! Red light therapy, plus my meds, and current nutrition/lifestyle plan are working!!!! That's the good news... and believe me, I'm so very grateful. I've worked very hard to get to this point in my physical recovery.

The bad news... I'm still harboring some resentment and upset about yesterday.

After lengthy discussion with the hubby, we have decided to go ahead and move in with his mom while the house is for sale. That way our lives are disrupted less by the viewers. Maybe we can find a bit more peace in the process that way... plus get in some quality family time before moving hundreds of miles away from the only home we've ever known.

Forgive my typos. I'm tired and don't see a way to edit this post.

That sounds like a really good idea. :) Will be nice to be with family for that last little while.
