Hoping for some good news
I havent' posted in a while, i have been helping with my aunt who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in january. Its so hard to deal with it all, I feel like I am reliving my Mom's last few months. She is not strong like my Mom was, she doesn't knowwhy she just can't seem to "have the fight in her' the last few days. I am trying to get her to write things down, make cards for her only grandson (he is 4) and evell.eryone is angry about it all. and you can tell. I guess that is the hard part. My uncle is angry aboutit, and rightfully so, he has just retired and they were beginning to enjoy their lives with their grandson, and now she is always in bed, only gets up to use the bathroom, drink a little etc. I try to push her, let's get up, get dressed, gngeo sit and talk for a little while. yes, you will get tired, but maybe that will help you sleep better. I don't know what to do. My Dad is frustrated with her (its his sister), he tries to push her. I am not sure, its' all so sad. My cousin, doesn't know what to do, doesn't push her. So there I am , again, always the bad one pushing and exercising her legs and arms b/c I don't want her to get blood clots again b/c she wasn't moving around enough. I am not complaining, I will do what I can to help her, my cousin and uncle and even my Dad. Everyone seems on edge. I hope there can be some light at the end of the tunnel. On the happy side, my son Marco will be celebrating his first communion at the end of the month. So strange wit the timing of things. My Mom died before my son charlies communion almost 2 years ago. I miss her. so much....... I know everyone is stru.ggling with the economy. I hope things turn around quickly. My husband's business is suffering, which means he is worried about making ends meet. My brother doesn't know if he will have a job by mid march. which is right around the corner. I pray, everyday. We have our health, healthy children and we love each other. So, thats the good thing. hopefully everything will work out and things will just fall into place. My Mom would say the words and make this anxiousness go away. I pray she comes to visit me in my dreams, to make me laugh and give me her simple words of wisdom. God bless you all! xo
