Hopeful for a new chance

Well...September is almost here...and I have alot of hope for the new month. 1) I have an appointment with a Dr. about placing a TAC for my next pregnancy. I don't know if we should do it prepregnancy or wait until 12 weeks????? Then...as soon as my cycle starts I have to call the RE doctor to schedule my SIS...hopefully when we do that...we can also talk about scheduling my FET. (fingers crossed on that one). I'm hoping and wishing and praying that all works out and we can be pregnant again for the new year...but this time...we will have our rainbow baby at the end of it all! I know DH is going to be SUPER protective of me this time around...but hey...as long as the end result ends with a baby in my arms and not another urn on my mantle, I will take it!

Congrats and hugs to all the ladies who are bringing home babies, getting ready to deliver and who just found out they are pregnant!! Hugs to you all.
To all my DS sisters who are waiting for their BFPs or even for their cycles to begin...don't worry about what is to come....know that God has a plan for us all.
To my DS sisters who are weathering the storm of infertility, miscarriage and all others...I know how you feel...I have been there and I still am going through MY storm as we speak. I refuse to let it control me any longer...I am claiming my rainbow baby!!! I know that they are on their way to me!!

Love you all!!!

This is a great update. You should speak with MelissaW here on DS because she we had several losses and then finally got the TAC pre-pregnancy. Her baby girls were born early but they are doing well and she finally brought one home from the hospital and the other one is not far behind.

So her TAC worked!

Stay strong and keep working at it. Fight for what you want.

Love this journal! I hope the appointment goes great. I bet they give you all of the information that you need to know, and I think using that will be very helpful to your future pregnancy.

I love that you are claiming your baby! I\'m copying you and doing the same! :)

Glad you are doing better, I\'m so trying to find a way to claim my rainbow baby too, just wish I could be hopeful that it wi happen in the next year

When I thought I could try again I did a lot of research on a TAC. I\'m no doctor but I think I would have prefered it prepregnancy. If you are doing IVF anyways, I would prefere them doing it before there\'s a risk to the baby.
good luck.

I highly suggest getting your TAC prepregnancy. I had it done laproscopically by Dr George Davis. He is one of the few doctors that has a lot of experience doing it this way. Him and Dr. Arthur Haney are the best! Traditional TAC is done like a c-section. I can\'t imagine being cut open in pregnancy but, those 2 men do MANY traditional TACs every year. My TAC got me to 26 weeks with my twins. They were born early due to being identical and having poor cord insertions. I lost 2 babies prior to my TAC...1 at 17 weeks. He basically fell out of me at home and I had a lot of complications after. Last summer I had a \"preventative\" transvaginal cerclage. It was placed at 13 weeks. By 15 weeks I was funneled to the stitch and spent 7 weeks on strict bed rest. I got a UTI and since my cervix was short and funneled it travelled to my son\'s placenta and he was stillborn at 22 weeks. I have learned so much through this journey. Each loss left me more broken yet more desperate for a living child. Noone understands except those that have experienced late loss. Also, one baby never can replace another. I look at my twins and wonder so much about my boys. I am excited for you to become a TAC sister. It is amazing how a 5mm band can change your life. My cervix was long and closed all 26 weeks with my twins. It actually got longer as my pregnancy progress. Big hugs!! Looking forward to seeing you post a picture with your rainbow baby!!
