hope ds doesn't lose this -- boys are working on wood floors//dinner at k's
i tried to write yesterday and ds lost it. hope i remember to copy this just in case.
the boys are working on the floors at the other house. saw it today and most of it is done. there is still a LOT of work that needs to be done there. i left them groceries. we told tyler that c had been taken away and he doesn't believe us. then he had a meltdown and says what about HIM and why aren't we paying attention to HIS feelings and why doesn't HE matter. and i'm like, omg you are mental. you are here to do the floors, what are you talking about? then k says its the bipolar that makes them act like that. shouldn't he be on his medication then? i don't get it. at all actually.
k is right about the house, it should have at least had all the painting done by may -- when we got there yesterday, NOTHING was done from the day before. not good. today, a LOT was done. hope it continues. he always has trouble with them, so why continue it. the floors look nice though. also need to look at the acreage west of here but haven't found the time and i'm like "fatigued" from it all. i really need to get back to having 3 days off. would also like to find something close to the timeshare with the super warm pool. so a lot on the plate. the new washer and dryer are in, but its making a breaker go off, so is that the washer or is that the electrical.
can only deal with one drama at a time, so now i know what "pacing" is, i used to be able to get a lot more done when i was younger, and also in a climate where i didn't have any allergy - which also slows you down.
two of the animals got outside that don't go out and freaked. one was trying to jump up to get back in and slipping and the other is too fat to attempt it. had to open the window and get her off the roof that is over the front door. lol. the other one, kept crying and i'm thinking thank yourself.
the acreage has a pole barn, don't know if i want horses though. its been YEARS, and i've been allergic since i was around ten, though we still had them even after that, just couldn't ride anymore. lol. would like to carve a road up the middle of the property first thing, but really need to give that a LOT of thought. its not expensive to own acreage if there isn't a house on it.
it was $50 to rent the sander and the total bill on that with sand paper was $85. the man gave me 60 and 80 grid but not 38 grid, the most important one. k had a fit. i don't even know the difference. he wants me to get a partial refund for it. so if i ever have splattered paint on a wood floor, have to remember to use 38 grid sandpaper or it does NOTHING. had to use a hand sander for the rest of it and the occipital sander was brought back. it took tyler one hour to do each of the small rooms, but the motorized hand sanding took longer and k says it would have only been another hour with 38 grid, quite a difference. i know NOTHING about sanding, so i'm just making lists and buying the stuff and then it ended up wrong anyway. don't know if the owner was pulling a fast one and was out of 38 grid or honestly believed paint would come off with 60 grid?
had dinner at k's at the beginning of the week. watched pulp fiction haven't seen it in over ten years, its still good. super busy at work. everything at once. was doing paperwork until 1 a.m. the other night. but get soooo much done when no one is around. have been drinking gin martinis with olives at k's. excellent. had sirloin and veggies and some kind of potatoes. all good.

I know what you mean. I am 50 and fought my body trying to do what I could as if I were 30. Things have been better since I accepted my limitations.
Your dinner sounds terrific! Now I am hungry,lol.
*hugs* I hope the renovations go smoothly.. My mom\'s husband is slowly repairing the trailer they live in. It\'s a pain in the butt, lol
so we get to the house today, its saturday, and guess what? the smaller room was to be done FIRST and had less to do. INSTEAD, the bigger room is done and still sticky? and the smaller room isn\'t touched. i say this to k and he says, its the bipolar. AGAINST its the bipolar. okay, explain that to me, how does that make him do the WRONG one first? i really don\'t get it. we get back to the house a second time and he says, it will be finished now, its been all day. NOPE. not only that, but we find a note INSIDE the house from that girl that does NOT live there. i said to k, told you. now tell me, HOW is she getting in? i totally hate drama. the whole thing is ridiculous and much longer than this. just get the work done and now i\'ll need to call the police to watch to see if ANYONE at all is going into or near the house until i have ADT alarm system with cameras put in (new thing they have). would think in a small town you wouldn\'t need it. unfortunately, you do.
