Hong Kong Airlines selects Airbus’ FHS-TSP solution for its fleet of 21 A350 XWBs
Airbus Flight Hour Services – Tailored Support Package (FHS-TSP) has been selected by Hong Kong Airlines to cover its fleet of 21 A350 XWBs. With this latest contract, the number of aircraft covered by an Airbus FHS-TSP solution in the Asia-Pacific raises to over 300 from 13 customers, confirming the popularity of Airbus FHS services in the region and Airbus’ leadership in A350 XWB flight hour services.
The FHS-TSP contract provides integrated and guaranteed services ranging from the supply and repair of components to the manufacturer’s unique Fleet Technical Management service (“Part-M” Engineering services). An on-site Airbus team will manage every day maintenance activities including spares, warehousing, and engineering, ensuring Hong Kong Airlines’ highest aircraft technical dispatch and operations.
Among the three FHS pools of spare parts which Airbus has in Asia, Hong Kong Airlines will benefit from the Hong Kong-based pool which opened in 2016. The other pools are located in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Through this Spares-Pool and Logistics Platform, Airbus will deliver FHS services including guaranteed spare parts availability, maintenance and logistics to A350 XWB FHS customers.

Hong Kong Airlines ordered 21 A350-900 aircraft, all of which will be delivered by the end of 2020. The airline already has three A350-900s in service, and these are operating on both regional and long-haul routes.
