Honesty?
So I am sitting here trying to answer a question. How does the quote Honesty is the best policy when the person you are talking too doesnt believe you or you dont believe anything the person says. I am so fucking frustrated with life. I feel like I just want to punch a wall. I was trying to get to connect with some old friends and just cant deal with the bullshit anymore. I am hating the fact that I am still alone and really trying to keep my cool. My frustration level is through the roof and just want to be happy again. The one friend that I thought I had that with lost her cool when I replied on a FB post that she posted on her friends FB. I just dont get it. Whatever, maybe I was just meant to be alone for the rest of my life. First my wife and now my friends.

I was told a long time ago, \"you trust until they teach you not to trust.\" When you get that sense you don\'t trust the other person something is triggering that. What is it? Work to identify. Sometimes we bring old hurts which we haven\'t resolved into the situation. We then start out already not trusting what that person is saying. Which one is it? It may be this person is not the right one to have a friendship with.
During my continued recovery from divorce I have let go of acquaintances and budding friendships because I decided they were not trustworthy.
What exactly did you post on FB? Do you carry any responsibility in the reaction of your friend? Don\'t ignore this. This is how you are going to learn better communication habits. You\'re not a failure at friendships. You\'re learning your way and making decisions about who and how you want to communicate.
Her friend was saying how anoying people are at her job and I merely told her I agreed and said I though it was funny. I do agree that she was hurt a long time ago adn this has brought those feelings back. So thanks for your perspective, it helped me see it from her point of view.
Sometimes its easier to move on to new groups of friends rather than connect with old friends if it all makes you feel frustrated and they dont except your honesty....
im having difficulties right now too with friends but they are friends that i have in common with my \"someday soon\" to be ex-husband..... so are these old friends ones you had in common with your exwife? It just seems its difficult to be friends with those types of friends after a divorce..... im not divorced yet and the common friends are already picking sides :( Just a thought didnt know if that was part of the issue you are having too with these particular friends.
