Home... Sigh

So thankful to be HOMe!!! My husband and wonderful dog are so happy to see me. And I'm in my own environment. That helps a lot. I have my wonderful bath!!! And all my books and my couch. Sigh. I missed this place. Plus, it's so much safer than being in a strange city all alone.
My sister, Missy, has ovarian cancer and need 6 chemo treatments, starting next week. I was there for 3 weeks and just really needed to come home. My body is battered and in such pain. I need rest. But I feel guilty for leaving her... I wish I could get a hold of that Star Trek energizer thingie! Just zap back and forth. I'll go back down for her brain surgery (she has a tumor in her left ear and it's now grown around her spine. And she has a shunt that needs replacing) - proabably soonish.
For now, I'm so happy and soothed to be in my own space. It's been a balm on some pretty raw emotions. even going to the dentist tomorrow can't mar my happiness! And that's saying something!
As always, I'm incredibly grateful I found this site and all the wonderful, caring, giving folks that have reached out. Thank you. NIbs ;)
