Home Now
Hi there.
As some of you may know, I was recently in the crisis recovery center. I checked myself in because i "just couldn't take it anymore." I was there for five days. I am home now. I just wanted to thank all of my friends who were concerned and sent me well wishes. I think my DS friends were more attentive than my non-virtual friends ;/
It was actually a good stay. I met some really cool people in there who were really open, honest and genuine about their troubles and struggles. It was really refreshing. I don't know if it actually changes me mentally to be in there....but it did give me some respite, away from the stresses of household duties, some rest away from the kids who are extremely difficult right now, away from work stresses, away from the rift that is getting wider between me and my husband. It cleared my mind, gave me a chance to think about things and sort things out.
I came out of there knowing that something needed to change, i could rely on myself in that change, and i was gunna give myself permission to explore new things.
I apologize if i haven't been attentive to my friends needs on here. Honestly, i am doing the best i can, but will probably need to focus on myself for a while.
thank you all again.

I am so glad to hear you had the chance to stop for a little bit and that you are home now. I have been terribly busy finishing the academic year and planning academic projects for the summer; that is why I haven\'t been in contact. However, I want to let you know I would be happy to talk, to accompany your reflections or anything you need in this process.
I like that you are considering giving yourself permission to explore new things. Enjoy life and enjoy yourself the way you are. You will see, if you accept and love yourself you will be happier.
Best wishes! and a big hug.

Yeah your not alone in those stresses of home , work, family and husband troubles. I\'m right there with you. Way to go and give yourself the time and attention you need. Were still here for you on here. I was just given the same advice. Enjoy life and love yourself. I\'m trying to get out of this funk too! Glad you are back and hope to talk with you later.
