Home for the weekend

I started this morning sick to my stomach, so far the worst.  So I followed the advice given to me and only took in fluids, and slowly came back to food as the day went on.  I also got some extra rest and didn't do anything I didn't feel like doing.I've learned that the pain killer I take for Fibromyalgia, also works well to help combat the stomach troubles somewhat.  I don't think I can escape it entirely, but it makes it better. And I am used to Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Fibromyalgia too, so I think I am already prepared to handle this more than others.  I feel like I am making progress, not just with the radiation, but with my life.  I've learned not to be in such a hurry, which I guess is why I have diagnosed anxiety.  Being at the Hope Lodge is actually good for me, because I've realzed my life is not on hold, but this is my life, and I must take time to enjoy every single moment no matter where I am or what I am going through.  I am experiencing more love than ever, from all my friends and family members, and I am able to think about what I want to do in the future. One of my new friends from Hope Lodge went home yesterday, and it was such a joy to see someone who really deserved it get good news.  She's had cancer for 27 years! and was expecting to get news of more chemo, and instead was told that everything is good.  So good things are coming for all of us!
