Holy bloat batman!
WOW, I've never experienced bloat like this before after IUI. I normally get bloated during my Chlomid days, but with the injectibles added and the ovudrel shot, this is WAY different for me this time. I was in so much pain yesterday after my IUI, when I walked I felt cervix pain and I literally looked 4 months pregnant, even my hubby was shocked. I rested for the second day in a row after work and today I'm feeling a bit better and it has gone down some. I was so concerned I called me doc yesterday and she said that because I have more follicles this time, that could be the reason. Not to mention I'm not a big person to begin with so there's not a lot of room to expand. She also told me to talk Beeno for gas (I know TMI) and that might help a bit since that can make it way worse. Ugh the things we have to go through in order to have a baby or at least try to. I cried on the way home yesterday in the car from how miserable I felt. I'm trying to keep myself positive and thinking that maybe it will work this time because I didn't feel like that at all my last two IUI's when I was just on Chlomid.
Has anyone else gone through this? It would ease my mind to hear some similar stories.
I'm willing myself pregnant darnit! I'm praying this is my month!!!

I had that happen my first time on injectibles too. I was told ovulation would be so much more painful because of how large and how many follies there were, and I was bloated for quite a few days afterward. This was also after I had my bellyband, so that helped out alot! I have heard things like bloat after an IVF or an FET is a good sign, so maybe it is here too? Maybe cause you are getting different symptoms this time around it means you\'ll get a different outcome!! rooting for ya chica!
Thank you so much Nellysgirl! I keep telling myself that too. DH said to me yesterday that it felt different this time and I hope he\'s right. I\'m going by the book this time, no excersising unless I\'m walking the dogs, no fried foods, no wine, only one cup of coffee (I love coffee) and plenty of medidation and positive thinking! I\"m excited for your tranfer coming up too! I\'m praying we get our miracle!
Pretty sure that is due to the injectibles. During my IVF stim, I had over 35 follicles - imagine that bloat! If you looked 4 months pregnant, I looked 8 months! Hah. It will go down, but I agree with you - no exercising, according to my RE, you could \"twist\" an ovary and that would be bad news. Hoping that this is the cycle for you!
I\'m sorry you are so uncomfortable :/ But praying the end result is worth it!!! Hang in there hun!!!
Sorry this is so hard. I really hope this is it for you!!
All of my IUIs were unmedicated, so I have no experience with this, sorry. Hoping your bloat disappears, your 2ww goes quickly and ends with a long-awaited BFP!
I hope you are feeling better today!
