Holiday Stress

Well, the title is a bit off.  It really isn't the holiday that is giving me stress.  My daughter who is 10 years old is suffering from yet another UTI.  Really, she never got past the one she had three weeks ago.  The antibiotics releive it and then it comes back with a vengeance once she completes the antibiotics. Gotta call the doc now and get her in. have to call her specialist too.
On another note, I have a lumbar puncture scheduled for 12/15/11.  At least that will tell me if there is something going on or if it is psychological.  My GP said it could still be the effexor.  I am down to 50 mg. once a day now.  I don't seem to be having any real issues with depression.  I think all that back in the day can be attributed to the B12 deficiency.  When I look back on it the effexor never did tackle the moodiness that I suffered from which was my main complaint.  Since I have been on the B12 the moodiness has completely stopped.  So, I will be glad to get off of this effexor and not have to buy that drug anymore.
And, the finale, I did not get the job.  I was told that I interviewed very well and that I tested very well. She said when it came down to making the decision, they went with ther person who had more child welfare experience.  I think that is all for the best.  He didn't have a job and now he does.  He has the time to go thru the training and I am not sure I would have. I have a daughter who is ill and I have my own health issues.  I think God was watching out for me on that one.  He knows what is best for me.  I will have to tune out the jr. high girls that sit by me and focus on myself and my job.  I just need to be more narcissistic like they are.  LOL
So the holiday stress is merely the timing of all the stressors in my life. Among the things that I have to do to prepare for Christmas, I have my health and my daughter's health to deal with too.  If not for all the programs my daughter was involved in this time of year, it would be a piece of cake!
Hope everyone has a great day.

It always seems like it is something. I feel like I am always at the doctor\'s office or the pharmacy. I\'m sure you feel that way too. I\'m sorry to hear about your daughter having a UTI. My daughter is having problems too but I think she has a kidney stone. I am waiting for the doctor to call me back for an appointment for her.

That is good that you have a lumber puncture scheduled. I hope you get some answers from this. I hope everything goes well.

That is to bad about the job. I think it is wonderful that you are looking on the bright side of not getting the job. You are right God is watching over you. He does know what is best for us.

I will keep you and your daughter in my prayers. Have a good day!
