Holiday cooking baking! :) opening Christmas Mail :)
SUPER SPIRITED MONDAY!!! :) CHRISTMAS COOKIES BAKING! :) SUNSHINE NATURE! :) HOLIDAY JOY IN OUR HEARTS! :) we're enjoying a great day, and a nice start to the new week! :) it's a great start to the Christmas preparations! :) today, i baked SnickerDoodle cookies for the very 1st time! :) it was awesome! :) i also am gearing up, for some more baking too! :) Gingerbread cookies, Chocolate Chip cookies, Christmas Sugar cookies, and lots more! :) i'm ready for some more baking fun! :) hehe! :) i love it!!! :) i had the kitchen nice and cozy warm this morning :) i baked the snickerdoodle cookies for Holly :) She mentioned recently, that she loves those cookies :) i called her today, and told her i was in the kitchen baking, she is so thrilled! : )She said, it's the 1st time ever, that someone has baked snickerdoodle cookies for her! :) awww! :) my mom and i have been hanging out today, and i've also been enjoying some nice quality time here on ds, writing to friends, and i stamped Christmas cards with the special holiday stampers :) i brewed a delicious, Folgers iced coffee, and tried a cookie i baked, they came out delicious! :) yum! :) Lots of festive spirit, and excitement in the air :) We're so happy, and thrilled, that you all enjoyed seeing our Christmas wreathe, and Christmas lights :) We're having a wonderful time, celebrating the holidays with you all :) Thank you angel friends, for the joy, happiness, and peace, you bring to our days, and our lives :) WARM COZY HUG! :) Tomorrow's sweet treats tuesday! :) We going to mcdonalds to get some treats :)
Warm Holiday hugs, and Christmas cookie smiles, on this sweet sunny December day! :) Hi angel friends! :) is everyone gearing up for Christmas? :) Twas 10 days until Christmas holiday :) my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a nice day :) it's a wonderful start to the new week :) Thank you all, for your lovely comments, on our Christmas wreathe, and Christmas lights :) Last night, Jenn, Mike, and Mikey stopped by our home to see our Christmas lights glowing around 7pm :) They were very excited to see the lights :) it's the 1st time, since 1999, that we've put Christmas lights on our front yard bushes :) We're enjoying the spirit of this beautiful season, sharing wholesome times, and joyful moments, with family and friends :) You all are wonderful to us, and are making the season so much fun, and special for us :) Thank you all! :)
Today, i blossomed into the kitchen, for a very special baking adventure! :) awww! :) some monday baking! :) holidays, and Christmas time baking is such a great time, to enjoy the warmth of the kitchen :) Recently, Holly mentioned to me, about how she loves snickerdoodle cookies :) i wanted to surprise her, by baking some for her :) i looked up the recipe online, as i've never had a snickerdoodle cookie before. :) The recipe sounded just like sugar cookie recipe, except for the addition of Cream of Tartar, and some cinnamon/sugar :) this morning, i went out into the kitchen, and washed some baking pans :) i put the pans into the oven, to let the heat dry the pans, i then began to gather the ingredients :) i got my Christmas cookie cutters, and began to make the cookies :)
The Snickerdoodle cookies are a really nice recipe :) Flour, Sugar, 2 eggs, Salt, baking soda (i used baking powder), butter, and 2 teaspoons of cream of tartar :) i mixed the cookie dough, and then put some flour on the counter, i spread out the dough, and i then used the Christmas shaped cookie cutters, to make the cookies :) in another bowl, i put sugar and cinnamon :) i mixed together the cinnamon and sugar, and put each cookie into the cinnamon/sugar mix :) i then put aluminum foil on the baking pans, and used butter to grease the pans :) i baked the cookies, they came out great, and smell so nice! :) i was so excited, to bake these cookies :) i baked some extra for my family and i to enjoy :) i called Holly earlier and i said, "Holly, i've been in the kitchen ,and guess what our kitchen smells like? snickerdoodle cookies!" :) She was so excited! :) i told her, i baked the cookies for her, and she's so happy, she said, it's the 1st time ever, that someone has baked these cookies for her :) i told her, we'll be mailing the cookies to her, on wednesday :) when the cookies cooled down, i put the cookies into zip lock bags, and got the cookies in the fridge :)
my mom, Lisa, and also Alyssa and the triplets were here this morning, hanging out :) Lisa said, "Chris, brew yourself a nice folger's iced coffee!" :) awww! :) i said, "cool!" :) around mid-morning, i brewed a nice iced coffee, and i tried one of the snickerdoodle cookies, delicious!!! :) CHEERS! :) wow! :) we'll definitely bake some more of these cookies! :) i've got lots and lots of baking planned, including on baking friday, next sunday, monday, tuesday, and maybe even on Christmas Eve next wednesday too! :) i'm gonna be baking many cookies, to give as gifts, in these nice holiday themed containers :) i want to bake chocolate chip cookies for Kayla, some gingerbread cookies for my mom, some sugar cookies for Charlie, Barbara, Bobby, Stacy, for my niece Alyssa, Aj, and the triplets, i also want to bake some more chocolate chip cookies for my sister Lisa too, and my dad :) oh my! :) We're cookie monsters, and the cookie baking celebrations are on! :) i'm gonna stock up on some more flour this week. :) The dollar store has chocolate chips too, i want to buy 2 or 3 bags of them! :) oh my! :) Angel friends, i'm so excited, doing some holiday baking!!! :) i'm feeling the wonderful spirit of Christmas time! :)

Kirsten (Agirlonlifesroad), and her family sent us, a cute, and adorable Merry Christmas card :) awww! :) Happy Penguin smiles! :) The card has a happy smiling penguin on the front, and it says, have a cozy Christmas :) awww! :) Kirsten loves penguins :) She has an amazing collection of penguins, she has collected over the years :)She loves to share pictures of her collection, during the holidays :) inside of our card, Christmas wrote us a lovely note, wishing us a Merry Christmas :) awww! :) This is so nice, and sweet :) Kirsten also included some nice Christmas stickers in the card :) i'm going to put our card, in my Christmas town, and on Christmas eve, we're going to put all of our Christmas cards, on our living room wall :) it's our special Christmas eve tradition :) Kirsten, and her family also sent us, a cute, and adorable wind-up Penguin decorative, that's wearing a green Christmas hat :) we also recieved, a nice penguin toy game, 2 cool Christmas pencils, and 2 nice Christmas erasers :) there's a penguin, and snowflake eraser :) this is awesome! :)
my family and i also recieved, a lovely Merry Christmas napkin :) this is wonderful! :) i collect napkins :) this is a great new addition, to my collection :) Kirsten, and her family sent us a nice christmas straw, and Christmas candies :) a Christmas tree lollipop, and also sixlets chocolate candies! :) my family and i love candies :) We're so excited! :) Christmas season is in full swing! :) i'm going to put our nice new gifts, here in my Christmas town :) my family and i love our wonderful Christmas gifts, goodies, and treasures, and will always cherish and treasure them :) Kirsten, family, my family and i thank you all so very much! :) We deeply appreciate your kindness, and generousity, with all of the love of our hearts :) Sending lots and lots of love, and Merry Christmas smiles across the miles, from our hearts, and home to yours :) This is awesome!!! :)
We're enjoying a nice monday :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits :) It's a really nice start to the week :) i enjoyed 2 nice nature walks today :) i saw 2 huge hawks, visiting our yard, there were lots of crows around too, and bluejays flying around :) today for lunch, i enjoyed some tomato soup, and 2 baked potatoes :) lunch was delicious! :) i'm putting together a treasures package, and also stamping Christmas cards, i'm going to begin to address envelopes this evening :) Tomorrow's sweet treats tuesday! :) We're gonna go to mcdonalds, to get some treats :) my energy is really good :) i love these sunny days :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for us :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP WARM FRIENDSHIP HUG :) Tonight, i'm going to put some holiday movies on :) There's many more great things to look forward too :)
