Holidays
Well lets see. One good thing is all my presents are wrapped on the good side. On the bad side is I really don't look forward to Christmas anymore. I use to love the Holidays. I was the one who the neighborhood kids loves my house during all celebrations. Christmas, Easter, Valentines Day....etc. but every since I have been sick it has been more of a burden. I do it for my daughter who at 16 still loves to decorate and trim the tree and my hubby. Why should they have to suffer. It isn't like it use to be though. The air of our house lingers with the effect of Lyme. Since we all have it there are days when none of us feel good and take it out on each other. I guess I leave it up to God. He will heal us in his time. I just need to be patient and serve him a much as I can until then. My legs have really been hurting my knees and ankles kill me. I haven't been sleeping good again. I get in the habit of getting up from 3;30 a.m. to 7:00a.m. then I might sleep from 8-9:00a.m. Lord help everyone if I don't. I still miss my job even though this month will be exactly one year. I guess I should have went to visit the school but I am a little hurt. I worked with and for these teachers( worked hard to) for 10 years and not one has called, written a card or e-mailed me in a year. Not one single person. I refused to be depressed this holiday usually I am because everything yoiu are suppose to have for X-mas I don't. My side of the family is so screwed up we don't hardly speak anymore. Being sick all the time. I will enjoy this years vacation. Myrtle Beach for 1 week. Dec28-Jan.1. Yeah relaxxxxxxx!

Yes, I can relate! Our home was also the place everyone gathered for everything. Not his year. My hubby put his foot down and said no more. Last year I still managed to pull it off (breakfast for 34, supper for 25) but had to go to bed before supper was eaten (got it served though!). I was so sick, and it is still just a blur. It\'s hard on the self-esteem, for me. I thought I could do anything, forever.
My work is also the same of yours, I have been off over 1.5 years. Not one card, I have had 2 phone calls (when are you coming back?), 2 deaths in the family (no condolances) and only I very quick visit to my house to get my office keys. The didn\'t even come through the front door. Yet, I miss my clients/patients...oh how I miss them. I know I will never be able to return to them being so immune compromised. They are all so sick with Hep, HIV, scabies,etc...
I believe God has me at home for a reason, and my children really need someone here now. I can\'t imagine how the past while would have been if I had not been somewhat available for them 24/7.
Perhaps the lesson here is that I shouldn\'t be taking care of anyone else\'s life (clients), when my own family needs me.
I pray that you have a peaceful Christmas, and an even better relax at Myrtle Beach!
Many hugs, and God bless.
