This Christmas is going to be WEIRD, first time in 27 years not in my home. We had what I told everyone was the 25th&final Christmas party, and our house caught on fire-mid party with 30 people! My fully it was c o brained pretty much to the front room and we were all in the family room at the rear of the house. A friend came late and when she opened the front door the fire from candles drafted and got the sheets, curtains my husband's recliner, ceiling. It went up into the heating ducts and came out on the other side of the roo. Man plastic ornaments stink when they merely and or burn. Bottom line we aware all okay. We'll be in a hotel for at least a month; furniture , and such will be replaced, so I'm trying not to let stress get to be too much. Anyhow I will check in and want to wish everybody a fabulous Christmas. Trish

OMG... I\'m glad that you are OK, but what a mess! I have a party on the 23rd here and will make sure NO candles near the front door! or at all!

OMG the only words that came to mind when I read this and I feel bad is \"Holy Shit!\" I know that is not good considering it was Christmas but honey, are you ok? I know physically everyone is, thank God, but emotionally. Your reply to my message made me question about the hotel thing and then I read this....do you need anything????????????? Girl I\'m fine. I did have a meltdown once I realized it was all real. Then I made it until Christmas evening before a flare hit. I talked to the company doing our house and we are supposed to meet him at the house Monday to get more of an idea of timing. He thinks 30-45 days at least. My husband goes home at least twice a day to feed our dogs and check out what\'s going on. Last night he came back and said our living room and master bedroom were totally gone. It\'s weird, but at this point I just roll one up and go with the flow! My cell s 916 705-7060. Trish
