Hmmm, a LEAKY GUT? Huh?

So my hubby was talking to some friends (doctors) about my case and they researched it and suggested I may have something called LEAKY GUT. I immediately said the name MUST be changed, it sounds like my diaper is leaking behind me or something! Butt (no pun intended, really), the disease is just now being defined and discovered. Seems you have small pinholes in your gut (intestines and stomach) which cause a lot of pain. The symptoms are similar to CP. One thing with LG do is when they have trouble with real food, tend to suck on low fat candy. HELLO! That's moi for sure. And this LG can CAUSE pancreatitis if not treated.
I have to check into it more but I was wondering if anyone knew of this strange thing! I may not have it but it give me some hope I may be able to be a human instead of a pile of CP just suffering. I hate that!
So in spite of fate raining on all my days lately (my mom just broke her ankle, I was in the hosp tues, etc.), I'm going to cautiously upgrade a notch and see what happens! I'm praying the force will help me regain some sort of life.
