Hmmm
So I have written 2 journals that disappeared in to cyberspace. I checked the drafts and they are not there.
I am now 75 - it is hard for me to believe. The aches and pains remind me.
I had a lovely time in Ottawa with Cevyn and the twins. The reason we went to Ottawa. Cevyn's friend got married. We've known Isobel and her parents for many years - she calls us Granny and Poppa. We also stay with Bev and Dan when we are in Ottawa.
I was so disappointed when Cevyn and the girls coudn't come here in May. I wasn't sure that we were actually going until we were in the air! For a couple of old farts, we more or less kept up with Sierra and Arabella.
Now that we are home, we need to get back to eating healthy and exercising regularly.
I try to keep up with journals but I go through times when I just cocoon.
My first lost journal was wordy - very wordy! My second one was a bit shorter. This one is the shortest. Let's see if it disappears!
Lisa: I miss you always and love you forever, Mummy

I am SO sorry your journal disappeared! It seems to be happening randomly without explanation! SO frustrating. I've found writing a word document, when I feel myself needing to be "wordy", first, then copy/paste it into a journal. That way if it goes "bye bye" at least I still have a copy and can try again. Just something to consider.
I'm very happy you were able to be with Cevyn and the girls! What fun you must have had...and how exhausted you must have felt at the end of each day! HAPPY exhaustion!!
I've been seeing you peek your head out and I appreciate your input here and within Life Stories so very much. We can't always be "everywhere all the time" and lots of times we need a break from everything, so you just keep taking care of YOU as best you can and say HI when you have the time and energy and desire to do so.
Hope you have a marvelous week and find lots of yummy, healthy things to eat and can enjoy some nice walks. How's the weather? Are you getting snow?
Tight hugs and lots of love being sent~
Just need to say '''Hi Marlene!!!!!!" so glad you get time with those littles cuties.. Love you!
Marlene, Its good to see your post. I am not on here much as things are so hectic with this work at home schedule. So happy your little loves are growing so well. I can understand how tiring it is to keep up with them, but so so fun too.
Happy BIrthday to you and I so understand the aches and pain too. 70 coming up for me and I feel it for sure. I was listening to a show today and someone said you have to be your own best friend. I never thought of that and I am going to try it and see what I and my friend can accomplish. Love to you and Joe. Kathy
Hi Marlene, I hope you had a Happy Birthday, & I think your favorite present was spending time in Ottawa with people you love! You & Joe looked like you were having fun there! Enjoy yourself at home, too. Take care & stay safe. Hugs, Donna
You’re way younger at heart and don’t you forget it...girls are adored and adorable so glad y’all got to visit...rest and exercise? I don’t like that exercise word....hugs to you and Lisa...
Glad to hear you were able to visit. I understand the cocooning..sometimes I look around on social websites but don’t feel like commenting or “liking”. We do what we have to do. I have been struggling myself with eating right, can’t remember the last time I exercised,. The struggle is real. Stay safe.
