Hmm... Good news sort of...
Well my ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend broke up today. It's weird because I have wanted this for the last two months, and now that it has happened I don't feel good. Even though its not my fault, I feel guilty. I also don't like to see her sad, so even though this is what I wanted, it feels weird.
It is ironic because I had been warning her that this would happen in the exact way that it did since their first day of dating. He broke up with her "because he felt like it needed to happen", but ironicly it was at the same time that his ex-girlfriend (who I knew he was secretly obsessed the entire time) broke up with her boyfriend.
When his ex, who is my friend too, told me that she and her boyfriend broke up, I tried to warn my ex. I told her that I'm willing to bet that he would break up with her soon, especially because it is summer and everyone would be home from college. She said it wouldn't happen, but today, everything that I had been predicting came true.
I just wish she listened to me in the first place. While I feel like I should be saying "I told you so", I feel bad for her. I knew that he was lying to her the entire time and that he was secretly still in love with his ex, but she would'nt believe me. So now they are finally broken up, but I feel bad. I know I didn't do anything wrong, but I feel guilty. It's a weird feeling. I know its what I wanted though.
She wasn't answering my texts, but finally told me that she doesn't blame me, she is not mad at me, but she doesn't wanna talk right now. I guess thats good. I come home from college in a week. Maybe this is all a good thing, I hope so. It seems to be working out perfectly. I know everyone that reads these thinks I shouldnt even talk to her anymore, but I do still like or maybe love her a lot. We'll see. I'm at least glad that I will have the opportunity this summer to maybe fix things.

U lucky dude, lol...but wait before asking her out again...dont be on a rush or u will blow up ur chance!
you need to back off dude. Right now is not the time to even be there for her. She knows you know, and she is feeling like the biggest idiot right now. The best thing you can do, for all involved, it to leave her alone.
As for wanting her back... why would you? You don\'t think she will just do it again?
Be true to you adn stay healthy body AND mind.
I really don\'t know why I would ChiTown... It\'s like she aggrivates me more than anyone else in the entire world, and she doesn\'t even deserve me talking to her, yet I still want to. I dont know, I\'ll figure it out soon enough.
I so get that, been mistreated by a few in my time too. I have tried to maintain communication with a few, and while I am trying, I wonder, \"why?\" why do I try to be nice and still be there, communicate and make sure someone who treated me ill I still care to make sure they are ok? it is maddening and I beat myself up for it. But I guess, when all is said and done, that is just the kind of guy I am, and do want to be. I don\'t want to hold any ill will towards anyone, regardless of how they treat me. But for those who are more harsh , I certainly walk away from. I just did that a few months ago with someone I was dating. She screwed up, then treated me like shit cus of what she did. That was one to not walk but RUN from. and I did. Now she is back, writing that she misses me and messed things up with me and just wants what we had. I guess things haven\'t been tat great for her and she realizes what she had and doesn\'t have anymore. but ya know what? not my problem now/.
So it all depends on the level of hurt one has caused me and their reasonings behind it. Some, I will give the benefit of the doubt and try to hang in there with cus I know they are hurting as well. But those that are vicious, I have found, I can walk/Run away from.
You will get there too.
Yeah I am the same way. Even though she has been pretty awful to me I still don\'t want her to be mad at me. I think we might be done even talking, we got in an argument over the phone and it turned kind of bad, so I doubt if we ever even talk again. Which is pretty unfortunate after me putting up with this for so long...
hun u sound as a really nice guy, i am sure that ur convinced now that she is not THAT great and that there are much better girls than her...u did the best thing by not making her mad... now walk away with a smile on ur face, u WILL find someone who WILL treat u WAYY better and who DESERVES ur love... always bear in mind that ur a great guy!
