Hmmmm......

Well, it's been about 8 months since I wrote anything, so I guess it's time for an update. I should apologize to y'all for leaving you for so long, but after so much time away, it sounds kinda hollow to me when I say I'm sorry. I just know that y'all are some of the finest people I know, and I have missed you.  I seem to be going through some sort of "funk" right now, and the best way I know to get out of it is to reach out to others who might be in the same boat. So if anyone needs to talk, shoot me a message. We can sit in the corner and cry, and hire someone to play the viloin for us. I don't know what's causing this mood of mine, I really don't have anything to be depressed about; the MS is fairly stable, life is good, I have a nice place to live and gas in the car. Maybe it's old age......menopause, hormones, that kinda thing. I dunno. I do know that I'm changing to a different neurologist, one that's infinitely more accessible. I haven't been to him yet, my appointment is in about 6 weeks to give me time to get all my records from my old doctor. And believe me, my file there is about 4-5 inches thick, so that will take some time. So hopefully between now and then, we can get reaccquainted. Thank you for taking the time to read this rambling mess.

I was just reading some of the other posts, and I think I have hit on part of my problem. I\'ve been trying to accept my limitations with MS, but how do you do that when there is no one else around to pick up the slack for you? Although my parents are close by, they are elderly and can\'t do too much. I REFUSE to begin another relationship just for the sake of having someone around. I have a lot of trouble with my eyes, driving is difficult, and there is no one I can depend upon to be my daily driver. OK, I\'m gonna shut up now.

I know what you mean. I get these times when I get so down too, Then I have my Mate who has Alzheimers and he has been progressing and not helping much at all. My son who did help a lot, finally found a great job...so now I am alone and way to overloaded with work...So yes, I feel sorry for myself at times...I have started Yoga and the breathing exercises and it is helping me out....I pray you find a new Great Dr....Hang in there.
