Hit the Road

So my girlfriend is on her way to NY today to visit her aunt for a week or so. I decided instead of hanging out at the house alone, I am going to go out of town for a weekend trip myself! Just another hour left at work and I should be able to hit the road.
I'm really excited as I'm seeing friends I haven't visited since last year and also going to see my brother and his family. Honestly, it's also really nice to get some alone time! I love my partner but I have been missing my solitude lately. Spending 4 hours in the car with just myself and my thoughts seems really enticing to me right now.
