historical mother's day

First of all I want to thank all of you who made journal entries on this sight. I know that you kept me alive. My third son who has shunned me for the past 2 years, finally gave up his "keeping mom and other family members " out of his life!!!!!I have spoken with him 4 times this past week, and yesterday's call to me was "Happy Mother's Day mom...I love you mom". To protect my shattered heart, until he started contact,I had resolved that I might never see him again.,and holding onto the serenity prayer.I didn't write about my grief because at the same time my dear daughter n law was dying of multiple myeloma, and my first of three sons was going through horrible divorce with horrible custody battle, and I was very involved with helping to fund daughter n law medical, and son's lawyer fees for child custody. All in all I have been in a real life nightmare past 3 yrs. especially. Good news finally about shunning son!!!!! So I want to give back to all of you who helped keep me alive! Thankyou.....don't give up hope entirely because our Higher Power can create wonderful surprises out of despairing situations!!!   viannagamby
