Hip Injection
I finally broke down last night and went to a walk in clinic after I got off work. I could hardly walk and decided enough was enough. They gave me a depo-medrol injection in the right hip area. I was very nervous because I just knew they were going to give it directly into the hip and I rememebed how much the shot in the knees hurt. This was a breeze! This morning I am totally free of pain. The first time in 6 years! Actually slept 9 hours straight! I just hope it works for as long as they think it will. Even if it doesn't this repreive is worth it!

On Oct.3 I became a great grandma! A boy. It was a very exciting time except for all the drama. On the mother\'s side-the biological and adopted mother showed up and there it went down hill! I tried to keep the peace and finally gave up. I did not think it bothered me that much because I was so happy about the ababy. But when I got up the next morning a horrible flare had struck. Could not lift my right arm and now this morning it has gone to my left shoulder. Back on Pred for a couple of weeks! Damn! Unfortunately this makes my job a lot harder and my boss does not understand. Oh Well. We do what we can.
Congratulations on being a great grandma! Unfortunately these important family moments bring out the best... and worst in people. I am sorry you have a flare going on. Shame on the drama queens! Keeping you in my prayers!
