High Maintenance
As I was going through my morning routine it occured to me that it takes alot more to get me going lately. If I were an airplane preparing for takeoff it would probably be something like this: 2 puffs of Symbicort: CheckGargle after Symbicort : Check2 ZyfloCr 600 mg pills: Check1 Avapro 300 mg. pill: Check1 Protonix Pill : Check7 prednisone tablets: Check1 Levaquid(sp?) pill: Check2 shots of Flonase in each nostril: CheckAM breathing treatment: Check The only step I have left out was my morning blood sugar test. I figured what's the point taking my blood sugar while I'm still on pred. Pred always raises it and it always returns to normal (for me) after I'm off the pred so why upset myself? I used to be able to just throw on some clothes and head out the door. Those were the days. Oh well, once I've properly prepped myself my performance is absolutely ...mediocre. I'm happy I'm not an eskimo. I would have long since drifted away on ice floe. It's a great day outside. I may try to venture out if I can handle it. I'm still a bit under the weather so maybe not. I sure would like to though. I am bored! I hope you all have a great weekend,I remain....grounded,Tom

I enjoy your sense of humor....boy can I relate, too! I\'m hibernating today because of the warm weather. I can relate with the boredom!!! It is awful!
Tom, you get me smiling each time I stop by :) Humor is a great defense for a rotten day.
I do the mental checklist each day too. Like you, mine seems to get longer and longer. It reminds me of the things I used to do before taking the kids out somewhere. Now I have my own checklist...inhaler, epi pen, cell phone, water....
