Hi angel friends, we did our storm preparations today. tropical storm conditions forecasted here.
Happy Monday! :) Blossoming into the new week, with some weather updates, nature walks, and also organizing my computer room, and continuing my decorating, for the halloween season :) Thank you angel friends, for all of your heart-felt comments, on my weekend journals, and for sharing in the joys of the weekends with us :) We're beginning the new week, with as normal routines as we can, as we continue to brace for potential stormy weather, in the upcoming days. hurricane Jose is tracking up here and could get close to our area. We did tune into our local news, weather channel this morning, and our local news, advising everyone across our state, to prepare, just incase. We're still not sure, of what kinds of winds, rain we're gonna recieve here as the storm could track more west, or east, it all depends, but just incase, today we did some organizing, preparing for at least tropical storm winds here in Southern, Connecticut. we heard, winds anywhere betweeen 40-73mph winds/gusts here. my mom and dad went out to the stores, and i did some cleaning up around our yard, and garden areas :) my dad cut branches off some of our trees, that are close to our home, and my mom and dad helped him move the branches. we're prepared just incase of power outages, that may impact our area from the stormy weather. Even though there's stormy weather forecast, still blossoming into the week, with some peaceful nature walks, tending our plants, and also organizing my computer room too :) i'm loving my halloween town, fall season decorating :) it's coming along really well, and looks awesome! :) We're gonna go out early tomorrow morning, to get some treats at mcdonalds and dunkin donuts :) weather expected to get windy, stormy into tuesday afternoon, and tuesday night into wednesday. Will definitely keep everyone posted. Our thoughts, and prayers are with everyone, in potential path of severe weather from this hurricane. wishing everyone safety, and comfort. Big Caring friendship hugs, from us all here :)
Hi angel friends! :) my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a nice peaceful day :) we think of you and your family's often :) it was a really nice evening :) Holly and i cheered on my Redskins team last evening, as they went into the late 4th quarter, and scored a game winning touchdown!!! :) HTTR! :) The Redskins got a big win, and are now 1-1 on the season :) Holly and i were cheering, and celebrated, both our teams winning on sunday :) We watched some episodes of TWD show last night :) We're pumped up and excited, for the new season of TWD coming up next month :) it's gonna be awesome! :) We enjoyed the weekend very much :) Shopping on saturday, and a cool football day yesterday :) it's a nice start, blossoming into the new week, and the countdown to fall season coming up, along with lots of halloween season excitement :)
Our plants are doing well :) i love tending our plants, and gave them a nice watering today :) i've still been seeing some butterflies visiting our garden, and bumble bees too :) it's so nice to see them, and our plants continuing to do really well :) they're growing, and flourishing nicely, and bringing us lots of great joy, all throughout the season :) it's been a big month of blossoms too :) many sunflowers, other flowers, and lots of popcorn cobs growing :) our pumpkin plant is doing really well too :) it's been an amazing gardening journey this season :) it's wonderful to see our sunflowers smiling at us all :) from seed to sprout, to growing strong, tall, and blossoming beautifully :) Where there's a sunflower, there's a smile :)
We have some preparations we've been doing today, to prepare for the upcoming stormy weather, from hurricane Jose. this storm has been around for a while, even before hurricane irma made landfall. we've kept a close eye on the hurricane jose at times, and it's tracking up here, and expected to impact areas of New England. The national hurricane center, posted up a tropical storm watch, including our area. this morning, our favorite meterologist, Gil Simmon's (WTNH) returned, after a recent health scare, and it was so nice to see him back on air :) he gave us all some updates, and told us all, it's best to prepare, for impacts from hurricane Jose. the track is still uncertain, whether it makes a turn west, or east, it all comes down to when the storm decides to take the turn east. it could get very close to us here, before it turns. right now, the forecasts for our area, in Southern CT, is 40-55 mph sustained winds, and up to possible anywhere between 50-73mph gusts. that's very windy, for our area, and we do have some concerns, for our trees, which are full of leaves. rainfall, could be anywhere from 5 to 8 inches we heard.
When severe weather comes, gotta definitely prepare best we can. we remember hurricane irene, sandy, and those storms taught us a lot, about how to be prepared, for the potential severe weather, and aftermath of it. my mom and dad went out to the stores today, they picked up some items, goods, water, just incase of power outages, we have charged up our batteries, extra batteries too. we lost power for 3 days when irene storm came up here, and this storm is tracking closer than irene did to us. we are hopeful, it won't be bad, but we're getting ready. i did put away lots of items, in our yard today, organizing our yard, and garden areas. from chairs, to other items. my dad cut branches off the 2 trees, that are close to our home, and my mom and i helped move the branches. the winds are gonna be coming from behind our yard. We're close to the ocean, long island sound, about 20 minutes away. they told us, tomorrow afternoon, winds will pick up, and tomorrow night into wednesday. We're keeping everyone in our prayers, sending our love, well wishes, for safety, comfort. It's best to be prepared, just incase. when irene storm came up here, it was in western, ct when it came through. gas shortages did happen up here. we don't have a generator, but if we do lose power, we will use our cell phones, to keep in touch, including wifi, which will be good, as i'll be able to post up a journal update. not too sure of our plans, for week with the storm tracking up here, but we'll see, about wednesday, and things when it comes to the post office. we gotta take things things one hour a day, especially beginning tomorrow. Big group caring friendship hug :)
We're enjoying a nice day :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits :) it's been a good start to the new week. We are very aware, of the hurricane jose, preparations for stormy weather here. We're gonna be all set, and ready for stormy weather. Tomorrow it's gonna be closer to us, and will be getting windy, and a very stormy night, tuesday night into wednesday. We're gonna do our best, riding out the storm here at home, and will plan our week, day by day, even hour by hour, depending on the weather. i'll keep everyone updated, on how things are going. we've been organizing a bit, for the upcoming days, weather. We're most likely gonna get to go out to mcdonalds, and dunkin donuts tomorrow, to get some treats :) It's very rare, a hurricane coming this close to us up here, but it's always best to be fully prepared. i've charged up batteries today, we also are getting the essentials, just incase. We are close to the ocean here, about 20 minutes from the atlantic, Long Island sound. it's gonna be stormy upcoming days, but we're gonna be alright, and our thoughts, and prayers are with everyone up here, in the potential path, of being impacted by hurricane Jose, and also our prayers are with everyone, who was recently impacted by the hurricanes. gonna be lots of rain here through wednesday, possible 5 to 8 inches of rainfall, from hurricane Jose, that's a lot of rain for our area, in short amount of time. i'll definitely keep everyone updated. Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for us, and for always being very wonderful to us :) You all are very nice, sweet, and very caring :) we deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP WARM FRIENDSHIP HUG :) There's many more great times to look forward to, with family, friends, and the spirit of the season :)

Our plants are doing well, growing, and flourishing :) i believe our plants will be fine, through the upcoming stormy weather. i spent some time in our yard and garden today, with the plants :) there's a slight breeze in the air, and our sky is kinda dark, cloudy. i believe in our plants, and i know they'll be alright, and continue to grow and flourish :) i took some new pictures today, to share with everyone :)

We are in Southern, Connecticut, New London County, close to the ocean, Long island sound. we have stocked up on goods, water, batteries, we also helped my dad move branches that he cut, off our trees that are near our home. we also put away items in our yard, chairs, and secured our gardens. The winds are going to pick up here, tomorrow afternoon. we could be looking at 40-73mph winds/gusts, here in our area, and lots of rain is possible. my dad cut branches off these 2 trees, that are close to our home. we are worried about the winds, from the storm. irene storm, brought down lots of trees, in 2011, with the leaves being heavy on the trees. we're hoping the winds aren't bad.

Hi Chris Glad you and your family are having a nice day and prepared in case of storm. We will have some rain Tuesday and Wed where I am not sure if it will be tropical or not The plants are sure looking beautiful I enjoy seeing your photos Thanks for all my nice hugs today Have a good night Hugs to all-Stephanie
Hi Chris & Family, good that your are prepared for the upcoming storm, as much as you can. My thoughts & prayers are with you my friend that everything is okay. Hugs! Brooke
Hi Chris I didn't realize that Jose was gong to impact the United States anywhere. The last I heard, it was heading out into the ocean. Apparently it changed directions yet again. It is great that you are all preparing for the worst. We got the end of Irma here but it was only a couple of thunderstorms and some really strong winds through the night. We were very fortunate.
Your plants are so pretty. Cindy and I did a lot of planting over the weekend now this weekend I need to add mulch and then I will take some pictures. We are adding plants to the picnic grove. It needed some plants to make it pretty. I am excited that Cindy is coming again in just a couple of weeks for cousin's weekend. We are all going to have so much fun. I definitely need to have all the mulch put down before that weekend because everyone is spending the days at my house and we will definitely be using the picnic grove.
You stay safe and keep us all updated. Will definitely keep you all in our prayers and also we will keep an eye on the weather channel to see where the storm tracks.
