Hi all......
Hi all......I haven't been on here for a very long time, I know, but I have some news. Last weekend I was in LA pitching my book to seven Hollywood producers. My publisher called me in June and told me he and his supervisor wanted me to go. I was fearful at first and balked at it because I wasn't sure what the trip would do to me physically, but as it turned out it wasn't too terrible. After four days of being high on pure adrenaline, I am now crashing something fierce, but I feel it was well worth it. I noticed as I was pitching that all eyes were directly on me. I noticed expression, emotion as well as even a few gasps. I feel as though I got through to them as to how bad this can be. I walked away with no negative feelings about this whatsoever. I have nothing but good feelings about the experience and I will find out in another week what the feedback was. Hopefully at least one production represenataive will request a copy of my book. The last line of my pitch was if I can reach one person through some kind of a film, all my suffering will have been worth it.
