Hey people.... 17 yr engagement ?

I've mentioned my "wife" n I quite a bit. Well we're only married in hearts. G proposed @2001, to this day we've never made it real. G has put it off because her Catholic mother won't attend our wedding. After years, she finally understood it hurt me. Or so I thought. I've looked up licence cost n so on, for real marriage, we've talked and she was on board........ yet every day, week n month I am met with Resistence or plain ignored on the subject. On Facebook, I called the engagement off. Marriage no longer has the sweet smell it used to. I am done. We can just continue living together as have.
