Hey!! At least when I'm writing my juornal... I'm not drinking!! lol:)
So I had to take the day off from work Friday to get my car inspected and I knew I was going to have a little bit of a problem. For the last several months heading towards this "special moment" I was well aware of the check engine light that's been on for a while (it's only been on for a 11 and half months now). At first I thought it was a little yellow light up picture of a turkey or something???...But when I put on my glasses and looked up real close I realized there's a little propeller on the nose of it and it looks exactly like a motor icon!? Oh shit! ..So yep!! I can no longer bury my head in the sand with the issue...And off to the shop I go....So they put her up on the lift, hooked her up to this computer/life support kind of looking machine with numbers and messages flashing and racing all around on the computer screen..And then!! ..It just stops...__________________
So in dead silence as my mechanic and me are just staring at each other (all you could hear was the clock ticking on the wall), the computer begins to spit out this paper print out giving my car a big fat F on its report card...So come to find out it says it needs a catalytic converter. And I ask him how much that might cost?? He says.."Probably in the $200 range" Now I know people $200 is a $199's more than any one should have to spend on any car repair..But this a classic!! It's is a severely rusted out 2009 Suzuki four door wagon that defintily has "Babe Magnet" written all over it!!!! lol.....But I just signed a check over to him to fix it...And for 2016?! I will be driving around wondering why I'm still single??? lol Have a great night -J

This so reminds me of me. I saw a light on the dash and assumed I was low on oil... So I buy oil put it in and then think the light will go off like it always does. Well I put on the glasses and the light was washer fluid! Hope I didn\'t put too much oil in!
Wow, 11 and a half months! Glad you were still able to drive it throughout that time. I have had a check engine light on my car for 16 months now. Being that its only a second car for local driving, i may just continue to take my chances. If it was a \"babe magnet\" then I might have reconsidered! Lol!
