Heroin
Middle son revealed a week ago Thursday that he's struggling with a heroin problem. Managed to detox on his own after learning that the center had a two week waiting list. So far so good. Said he hasn't felt good in 8 months.
I knew he had a drinking problem and thought that it was a matter of time that he would be arrested for something. But heroin? Since it was his first offense - he was just given a ticket for marijuana possession - misdemeanor. This will not give him incentive to ask the judge for help. He said he knew that when he was pulled over that he would get caught and wanted to. They made it easy for him. Mixed feelings about that one......
In the meantime - our youngest who first had the drug problem is doing much better. While his older brother detoxed he is in the process of quitting smoking cigarettes! Keepin' fingers crossed and prayers .....
