Here's my story
Hi everyone! First off, I'm so glad I found people who genuinely understand what I'm going through right now. I am 31 and a mother of two amazing boys (age 1 & 3). I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2012. I had two surgeries and felt like I was out of the woods. The pain came back, so I went through more tests and ER visits because my obgyn was sure it wasn't my endometriosis again. Finally, after normal test results, my dr agreed to do surgery again....and that's when I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd child. My whole pregnancy was extremely painful, but we got through it. I had my third surgery and was ready to have a normal life again. Of course the pain came back again, so I saw a gastro specialist and had more tests done. I switched my obgyn, and we are pretty sure the Enzo is in my intestines and digestive system. I found a specialist who can help me, but I'm waiting for a lot of things to line up before he can treat me. Mewhile, my pain is getting worse, and I'm struggling to be a mom to my boys, and a wife to my husband. I have never felt so hopeless. My loved ones are trying to understand, but unless you live with this endometriosis crap, you can't understand what it's like. It's a waiting game. Mentally, I have to break up the days to try and just make it through each moment. If anyone has any ideas on how to cope with this pain while raising toddlers, please let me know! I know there are fellow endo mothers out there who are surviving just like me, and I would love to hear from you :)
