Here I go, again

OK, I have run this distance 7 times before, but this will be the first time since Melissa passed away.  She was my biggest supporter, and did lots of things that really helped me out.  Now, I'm trying to rehearse for an upcoming play, and run a household by myself as I perform my training.  It makes for some very tight schedules, and is definitely more difficult.  On top of that, I have been dealing with an injured heel for the past year.  So far, the heel has held up, and I am optimistic that I will be able to do this.
So... I am doing this, with an occasional ice pack on my heel, a bottle of ibuprofen in one hand, a beer in the other, and a song in my heart! (ha ha)
