Here comes the Sun!

Wow - what a difference a day makes!  Went to Al Anon last night, went out for breakfast with a friend this morning, and got a call, while I was out, from our state dept. on alcohol and drug services.  I has applied and was chosen (one of two) to represent our state at a national meeting in Washington! I will be meeting with other reps of families and work with them and to develop recommendation for Center of Substance Abuse Treatment and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration on strengthening family involvement!  I am so excited!  God does work in mysterious ways -considering I was so down yesterday wondering if what I am trying to do was making a difference.  At the Al Anon meeting last night they talked about all the little (and big) miracles that take place once you engage yourself in the program.  It was just good timing - all around....
