Help - Warning might be TMI!

Hey Everyone!
I am hoping i am not alone in this and someone can give me comfort...
Before surgery back in June of last year I used to notice blood in my stool, but the the stools were hard to pass, i mention this to my OB and she didn't seem concerned.
Now for the past couple of months i have been having strange bowel movements, like 2 weeks before my period i have maybe 2 or 3 a week, they are usually very hard...and then the week of my period for about a week i have a mix of all sorts of different stools.  I get diaherra, soft, the urge to go but nothing come out, pain (sometimes not always), i notice mucus, and after this cycle it goes back to hard again.

I went to my family doctor yesterday and he is sending me to a specialist of the digestive tract but i am starting to freak a little about what this could be .... anyone anyone?
Again sorry if TMI trying to find comfort while waiting for next appointment....

Having endo on your bowels can do some pretty messed up things to you. It\'s an avenue worth exploring. Hope you get some answers.

I had/have endo on my bowels and have similar BMs. Good luck at the specialist!

Sounds like a few of my friends with IBD or Chron\'s but definatly specialist is the way to go.

I had adhesions from my tube to my bowel and that always seemed to cause issues around my period. May be worth surgery again, especially if you can get your OB and the gastro guy to do their thing at the same time so you only have to be knocked out once and they can see what is going on all sides of the issue.
