Help?
I hired a handyman yesterday. A stranger who fell in step beside me while I was walking the 3 blocks from the nearest church to the house. It was all very impulsive and I am feeling quite insecure with the decision. Still, there is no question that I need help with the considerable work that remains to be done on the property and I am entirely too new to the neighborhood to expect much assurance. Gotta start somewhere with a leap of faith. We are going to begin the trial run later this morning. We see what grows.

The first morning was pretty chaotic. I went off on him a few times for abusing tools and talking enough to keep me from getting any work done. He wasn't getting allot of work done while he was flapping his gums, either.
We're going to try again in the morning. Giving him the benefit of the doubt for now. Good relationships are built, not born.
