When I refinanced the house, the appraiser insisted that the roof get repaired. So the bank put the amount plus 1/2 more, just in case, into an escrow account. If the roof got finished at the estimate, that 1/2 would be sent to me.
So the roof got done on February 29th, and even though they goofed and did the wrong side of the house first (the side that was already done 2 years ago), the roofer agreed to stick to the estimate. And the bill was submitted to the escrow company on March 1st.
3 weeks have gone by, and the bill is due by March 29th and if it's not paid by then, I'll get charged interest. So I began making phone calls... called the escrow company - they're waiting for approval to release the funds from the bank. Called the bank - they're waiting for the appraiser to confirm the roof is done. Called the appraiser - he did the paperwork and photos last week. Called the bank - yep, they got it and it got processed yesterday. Today I'm calling the escrow company and I should have $900 by tomorrow with the bill being paid! YES!
When I talked to the bank, he said I was more up-to-date than he was - I said I was just persistent, lol. In the past (as recently as 2 months ago), this would have stressed me out, and I would have procrastinated BIG TIME. But it didn't - and I didn't. It was FUN! Yep there's definitely been progress in my life!!!!
I'm ready for the next step! Bring it on!

I know exactly what you mean when you say you no longer let the same sort of thing stress you out with procrastination.
I just posted a journal entry and it made me think of one of your entries with the Green Mustang and the girl on the hood. It\'s interesting that I just witnessed a photo shoot with cars as well. I read your entry and visualized that and can\'t help but believe on some level that reading and consequently visualizing it brought a similar situation into my life... work out with a car photo shoot at the end. Or is it that I just activated my reticular aspects of my brain... we will never know but I find it very interesting.
